We had a fantastic Christmas getaway at a charming hotel in Lijiang. The rooms were beautifully decorated and impeccably clean, providing a cozy and comfortable stay. The location of the hotel was ideal, situated in a quieter area away from the bustling crowds of Lijiang. It was within walking distance of the main touristy area, making it convenient for exploring the city. the hotel's rooftop terrace offered stunning views of the surrounding rooftops and distant mountains, providing a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery.
While our stay was overall enjoyable, there were a couple of downsides. the breakfast provided at the hotel was simple but tasty.

During Christmas, we stayed at a hotel located to the east, off one of the main streets, with a peaceful courtyard and rooftop garden where we enjoyed the beautiful views. It was a nice change to have soft beds with white linen. the hotel also offered fresh breakfast and free wifi, which were appreciated.
The hotel was a bit of a walk from the main tourist area. Although the hotel was reasonably quiet, it didn't matter much because the thick walls of the room could still let some noise through, making it difficult for us to sleep at times.
